CANIS Safety a.s. is leading Czech importer, producer and distributor of personal protective equipments´ ensuring security and health protection during work.
The company dates back to 1993, when it was established by the brothers Jaromir and Jiri Rataj as an association of two physical persons. In 2003, we became a stock company CANIS SAFETY a.s. We currently employ over 550 employees 30 of whom have altered working ability due to their health disabilities.
Our sales strategy is focused on both retail and wholesale. We have a network of sales branches all over the Czech Republic (Zlín, Opava, Petřvald, Ostrava, Ostrava-Mariánské Hory, Ostrava-Vítkovice, Třinec, Havířov, Hlučín, Olomouc, Brno, Jihlava, České Budějovice, Pardubice, Praha, Liberec, Jablonec nad Nisou, Ústí nad Labem, Plzeň, Příbram, Kladno, Kolín), sales branches in Slovakia (Košice, Bratislava, Prešov) and wholesale directly from the central logistics grounds in Petrvald with over 15000 sqm of storage space. As a new strategy, we send commodities to customers from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland directly from the central warehouse to shorten delivery times and manage the whole ordering system.
In our assortment you can find working clothes, working footwear, gloves, products for work at heights and other personal protective products. We benefit from own long-term experience with the direct import of goods from Asian countries. We develop and produce our own line of free time garments and work articles under brand CXS. We are the authorized distributor of several prestigious European brands such as 3M, ANSELL, BESTARD, DUPONT, KIMBERLY CLARK, MAPA, OKULA, PROHELM, PROTEKT, ATLAS. All this is complemented by our own custom production of working clothing and custom printing according to the customer’s wishes.
Annually we confirm the quality system by EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification.
